Ringo is an absolute gentlemen and is the ultimate package with amazing movement and jumping ability. Ringo placed 3rd at his first event and had a number of top level mares and riders who used him for his first season in 2008.

We are very lucky to have a thoroughbred stallion like Ringo and we are looking forward to having more time to get him out competing.

Talisman Sport Horses is extremely excited to have purchased Ringo (Highland Charmed), he is a five year old thoroughbred stallion that is currently starting his career under saddle and is showing all the ability of his brother Henry (Highland Charm 3***). Highland Charm was sold to the UK to eventing rider Polly Jackson, in Australia he was known to be a freak jumper, and subsequently nicknamed ‘How High Henry’!

Ringo already showed his jumping ability by jumping out of a 1.80 round yard while being broken-in, however, what is most spectacular about Ringo is his sensational movement which is rarely seen in a thoroughbred. Ringo moves like a Warmblood, he has extravagant and elevated paces. Everyone that lays eyes on Ringo is blown away, Sam Lyle, Australian’s show jumping coach for eventing stated ‘he has exceptional movement and could be a pure dressage horse’.

As well as exceptional movement, jumping pedigree and confirmation, Ringo has a superb temperament. He is able to cope with the pressures of becoming an eventer but his kind and gentle nature has seen him ridden by children that we teach.

In short, Ringo is a complete package, particularly for those breeders looking to add some Thoroughbred athleticism to larger Warmblood or Irish types without having to compromise on movement or jumping ability. This is your chance to breed from a young horse before he gets runs on the board at competitions.

Ringo has commenced his performance career, as such he is only offered at stud via chilled semen.
